i find it interesting that, as of this post anyways, the main page marque has not been changed to add a spring LTD window

i can understand that the main emphasis seems to be focused on the 800s & rightfully so,
but to me it makes sense that the 400 & 300 LTDs, with standard woods, were released
first as they are likely the most popular series, in terms of volume, after the 800s -
that being said, CV bracing & cedar top on the 400s, with a bound headstock, abalone rosette to match the fretmarkers
markers & bridge pins &  a 322e 12 fret & cedar tops on 310e, 312e, 314e & 316e models may  have possibly generated
a bit more positive response, which in general seems  to be a bit underwhelming, but they should still sell pretty well

i'll bet $ to donuts, that this is the first wave & i would be very surprised if there aren't at least 2 more runs before 2014's done
