I finally gave up on getting mine after many days of reading this thread. So I drove to my local dealer and picked one up on the 7th.....Mine was in my mailbox on Saturday the 8th.
Well there you have it!

I've been wanting an 814 for some time now, but it will not be in my budget to buy new right now.  So I will start saving and by the time I get the cash together, I might find one used.  Or I'll change my mind entirely and get something without a cutaway.

I can't wait to see the sales spike figures for 814's after all the hoopla regarding the 2014 enhancements. And I wonder if this will lead to an ultimate new price tier for the 800 series somewhere between ther 700 and 900 series.

My issue hasn't reached the UK yet. Not sure but are the Spring Ltd listed as I'm starting to get mild GAS for a twelve string. A 2013 456 Fall Ltd would be a strong contender but there are none left in Europe.

Definitely a great issue.  It's interesting reading about the changes.  I look forward to trying one of the new 814's out.  I wonder which series is next on the agenda for a re-voicing?  I hope it's the 600 series.

I would imagine they will apply the 800 series voicing to limited 40th anniversary models throughout the year and then start applying the updates to the 500 series and up next year, followed by the 300 and 400 series a year or two after that.

Gosh, finally got mine but only BC I spoke with customer service at Taylor about my GSM order last week and mentioned I hadn't gotten my W&S yet.

He said he'd get it right out and he did!

I guess reading it online is just not the same as paging through the glossies.
