Hello From Florida
« on: January 23, 2014, 09:48:14 AM »
I've been lurking here for a few days and looks like a great community, So I decided to join in the fun. I tried to play when I in my 20's but life got in the way, children, family, career, and I ended up putting my guitar down for many years. Finally about 5-6 years ago, I picked it up again. My guitar collection has grown and my wife calls it an addiction. I guess I could have worse addictions and do enjoy playing them.
I picked up a Big Baby Taylor at a midnight madness sale one night and was really impressed with it. That's when I really started looking at Taylor and my Taylor collection has grown to 5 since then.

Welcome to the forum AmazingJourney.  Our stories are very similar.  Played in college, quite while rising a family and run a business, started up again a few years ago.  It is funny how one little baby taylor can fuel a new found love. :o

That's a mighty generous offer, you'll be changing 13-14 sets of strings!  ;D But at least your teeth won't chatter.
I don't think I could live up north anymore. I was freezing while walking the dog this morning. It was mid 40s and breezy! How easily we get spoiled.

Always room at this table for one more! We will envy you until the humidity rises and the black flies begin to swarm there!
Greetings and welcome!
