I never abused it the lid just came un hinged on both ends so I bolted two new ones on. The rivets came thru from the inside out and the little hinge pins ended up breaking. The case is solid no problems there just weak hardware.

.... I did learn from that day forward every time I put a guitar down it goes in a case with at least two latchs hooked...

in general, clip on tuners & straps should be removed from the guitar before it is cased -the tuner may leave a mark on the headstock from the padded clamp material & it ispossible that a strap may react with the finish of certain guitars if draped over the topthe chances of unnecessary scratches or headstock marks/nicksmay be reduced by removing the tuner & strap when not in use
