Yeah, I like 'em.  I switch around once in a while, then come back to Elixers.  Your guitar, your choice.

Really don't care for them. I normally take them off right away because I find them to bright for my taste. I use Newton PB on my guitars. They stay in tune and last a long time and I fine the round core easier to fret. My .02!

I like them, although I will occasionally put a set of d'addario EJ16s on my GA; but my preference is for the Elixirs.

I like them too. Switched around and tried others, but now sticking with Elixers. Get the longest life out of a them. I use Nano Meds. on both my Taylors. Didn't really care for the lights.

My 312ce sounded really nice with D'Addario EXP meds., but they totally died in a week. They also made my fingers black, even though they are coated.

We love Elixirs - have tried others, but came back to Elixirs very quickly. The sound and longevity suit us perfectly.

Nano 80/20 lights on everything - 6 and 12-string, Dreads, Jumbos, GAs, Big Baby... and also on our Yamaha 6 and 12 too.

I confess that I haven't tried too many other brands, but for me the 'lixirs are as good or better than most. I did start using the Phosphor Bronze Meds on my guitars as they warm them up a bit. I will be trying Dean Markley Alchemy Golds the next string change to see how I like them. I am very pleased, however, with the 'lixirs regarding tone and longevity. Also, I'm an aggressive strummer and haven't broke one string yet.

I like them.  I use them.  I have tried other brands.  I always go back to the Nanoweb, and I like the Nanoweb on T-5"s.  I have dated the used box and I can tell you that they last longer by a couple of months depending on the guitar and frequency of use, mostly frequency.  I dig the tone they offer.  plus less skreetchy sound from finger slides.

I also think that string loyalty is as polarizing as guitars and football teams.  It often times turns out to be a team spirit kind of thing.

I agree with Jim. Elixir Nano's work well on all my Taylors. IMHO, they hold up great (sound and feel). Gotta go with works best for you.

I'm not a big fan of coated strings. I figured the price evens out when buying regular bronze strings and changing them more often.

I've never been a fan of the 80/20 Elixers, but I like the PB nano's well enough. I typically end up using John Pearse PB's, though.
