914ce 2008 Brazilian Rosewood Limited
« on: May 18, 2013, 12:53:48 PM »
I recently purchased this guitar on account of the stunning warm but crisp sounds. Yes, and I did get a good price on it. But it is the sound that makes me so content. does anyone have the same guitar?

Hi billybones - welcome.

We don't have the 2008 model, but have the 2004 914CE-L7 Brazilian Rosewood. This is Jimmy's favourite guitar ever, and he's played (and owned) more than a few super guitars. The comination of tonewoods and body shape create an awesome sound and the construction and finish make it a feast for the eyes too!

I shouldn't be attaching human qualities to inanimate objects. But this guitar, as well as all guitars that must be hugged in order to play, kinda reminds me of a new and very beautiful bride that I can't wait to get my hands around several times a day.

Thank you. I am not a stage performer but this guitar has compelled me to play more and improve myself. And it inspired me to write another song titled, "I Proud to be a Yankee from Winooski"  which is a parody of Merl Haggard's "I'm Proud to be an Okie from Muskogee."

We just took in a PS10 Brazilian recently on consignment, and it was actually one of the first "new" Brazilian guitars I've ever had a chance to really sit down and play. It is a ridiculously good sounding guitar ;D
