Too many good string options out there to compromise, IMHO. Why wait! If a string set doesn't sound right, play right,
and last with good tone throughout its usable lifespan (this one is
very important to me), why bother waiting to see if that set will work for you when it clearly does not. Were there only a few options, then I'd say sure, patience grasshopper. But with
so many fine choices out there, simply find the set that works best and be done with it. That's one more box to check off , IMHO.
