Hard Bag for Grand Symphony
« on: March 27, 2013, 05:20:47 PM »
Hi Folks
Does anyone know if there will be any hard gigbags from Taylor that will fit a Grand Symphony shape?
...also...Is any other company making one that a Grand Symphony will fit in?
I need something more lightweight than the Taylor hardshell case (preferably with shoulder straps).
Thanks  :)

I'd be interested as well...I've searched but only mini GS cases show up.

Lower bout dimension is 16.5", which should be fine for the GS.

Thanks David,  :)  Looks like a nice case with lots of storage as well.

Just for your information I found that a dreadnaught sized tric case fits like a glove for my Grand Symphony Taylor.  I had to cut a bit of plastic lining out to make room for 2 of the gotoh machine heads (D and G Strings).  For standard tuners the case fits fine.

Here is the Grand Symphony in a Tric case.  I just cut out 2 strips of plastic where the D and G tuners fit.  I love how light it is :)

Tric case looks nice.   I recently bought a Reunion BLues Continental dread for my GA and I love it.    A little heavy, but great protection, lots of pockets and comfortable to carry.
