Merry Christmas!
« on: December 24, 2011, 10:40:13 AM »
Merry Christmas all you Taylor guitar lovin' people!

Thought I'd share a link to a nice version of "Do you hear what I hear", composed by Josh Wilson, played on none other than a Taylor guitar.

Enjoy!

I'm a huge Josh Wilson fan...here a video of him playing Amazing Grace with a loop pedal!  It's amazing.

Yeah that's a nice guitar.  Nice wood selection yet simple look.  IIRC, he regularly tunes down a 1/2 step to Eb.

Thanks for the congrats.  Gotta be the most posts I've made in a forum that isn't martial arts related.  Enjoying this place.

I love the sound of this guitar and definitely his version of this classic Christmas tune.

Merry Christmas to you and yours new friend.

Nice!  I bet those make for a good read.

Merry Christmas to those down under!  Just 2:30pm Christmas eve here.  I'm anxious for my 11 year old daughter to open her gift.  Already a talented pianist, she hinted at wanting to learn guitar so I got her a sparkly red MIM Fender strat and 15w amp.  I figure it will be easier on her small hands for her to learn guitar on electric first.  After that, I see a future Taylor owner/player.

Merry Christmas Chad and all of our fellow guitarist....  Thanks for the link(s) to Josh Wilson.  I think I have found a new artist to begin listening to.  Sounds as if the excitement is building for Christmas morning when a young lady discovers her new guitar and amp :)  I love seeing the smiles on our children's faces.

I hope everyone receives a smile or two along the way this Christmas season  :)
