Oops - sorry 'bout that Cedarkoa! It's still a great-looking guitar! Here's my sinker/ovangkol baby...

Nice pairing of woods! Taylor sure does an wonderful job!
Did you get to pick out your woods?

Actually, my dealer was at Taylor shortly after I placed my order - he was emailing me pics so I could choose what I liked...Larry Breedlove and Joe Bina also helped me with my binding/rosette decision as well...

That is so great! I too was emailed pics and could choose what I wanted!  It was hard to know being my first how it was going to look like in the end but I am very pleased! I had also spoke with Ben V at Taylor a FEW times on the phone as well.

Wow, Herb!

Great sinker top, and I like your choice of appointments. While I go nuts for wildly grained coco (and sapwood too), I love the look of your cocobolo - so rich and almost stately....well done!

The guitar belongs to Cedarkoa599. I posted the pictures since they weren't visible in Cedarkoa599's post.
Thanks Herb for helping me out!

I have reviewed it several times on this forum, so much so, that people are probably bored with the superlatives I continue to assign to this guitar (sinker/ovangkol has proven to be a killer combo!). Feel free to PM me with your questions...

I played all three of those guitars at Martin Music. The turtle maple was the best by far!

Here is my newest.  2004 655ce.  I am having tons of fun with it, but wow it can wear me out playing 12 strings.  That part is almost behind me now though, and I can now play and it is just plain fun.  This is my first maple guitar, my first jumbo, not my first 12 string.  I had a Takamine 400 for a short time, it was one of those lawsuit models,  35 or so years old, it was at the end of its life.  This one is awesome, plays great, looks fantastic, and is more comfortable than the Takamine(dreadnaught).
I bought this one from a UTGF member and had the best buying experience, so buying form folks here can be great.  So here are a couple of photos

If you can try and make them about 900 pixels wide ... that seems to be perfect for posting.

The blue with the Koi... wow!  Pretty amazing.  Sometimes instruments over the top like that look terrible, and sometimes they just seem to work!

Testing out my new camera. Thought I'd try a monochrome shot of my 110. Two of my favorite things. My guitar and now my new camera!

My 3 Taylors.

Interesting in this picture the GS mini to the left looks about the same size as the NS32ce in the middle. Of course it's the 814ceTSB to the right.
