How do you post photos here?
hi ice
it is possible to directly upload & post relatively small pictures here -
any pictures posted in this manner, i believe, are only viewable to
registered members that are logged-in ('guests' will not see them)

how to post pictures without uploading them to a photo hosting site

1. click on 'Attachments and other options' ( lower left-hand side of the post text box )

2. click on 'Choose File' radio button on the left, in the 'Attach' search bar

3. locate & click on the the picture you wish to post

4. click on 'open'

5. if you wish to post more than one picture, click on ' (more attachments) '

6. repeat steps 2-4 for each picture -
i believe that 4 pictures may be the limit per post, but that is subject to change

7. when you're done adding text, click on the 'Preview' radio button on the lower right hand side (to the right of 'Post')

8. if the preview post looks good, click on the 'Post' radio button

9. done :)

hope this helps :D

Not such a good picture of my 2011 Fall Ltd Koa but it's the best I could do with my 10 year old webcam, :(

I think that the quality of that guitar really stands out even with a old web cam picture.  Plus, that is a beautiful fretboard inlay, Taylor really did a great job on that design.

The first one is my 2008 516ce. The second is a T5 S1 Custom built 08' NAMM show guitar. Some VERY nice acoustics in this thread.

Strumming Fool, sure is purdy. I had a 2007 GA-K but flipped it for another. Sweet guitar. I think of it from time to time. Seeing yours just floods the memories back in.

Thanks Cigar Fan-

Sometimes I really get caught up in the '90s Taylor mystique. My two '90s Taylors both have such incredible sound, but I also know that part of their mojo is the fact that they are older, and have matured so rewardingly! Gives me something to look forward to with my other three, which already sound exceptional to me. Then there's that new BTO coming late October as well! We're all truly blessed to have these wonderful companions to help us make the music that brings us such joy....

Got some new photos of the '95 GA-KS after I cleaned her up, and changed the tuner buttons and bridge pins:

I love the wide diameter rosette. If I'm not mistaken, 1996 was the last year for that style of rosette.

in terms of GAs, the 94 XX-MC/RS  & 95 GA-WS/KS/BE models had that style rosette, along the 96 914c -
in 97, the rosette placement (& diameter) changed to where it was closer to the soundhole

Strumming, i was curious what type of bridge pins are in your GA-KS now ???
to me, they look dark (wood?) with a lighter color dot inlay (MOP/ab ?)

thanks for sharing the updated pics :)
