I wanted a striped theme...the only other thing I could have gotten instead was a sinker redwood top that would have had striping, but I do LOVE the edgeburst, and I don't think I would have liked an edgeburst on sinker redwood. :D

Sinker with Edgeburst is nicer than you might think!

When I purchased the guitar from Jim he had 3 in stock so I asked him to pick the best sounding guitar out of the 3, he picked this one. His comment to me was "this one screams" he was correct.

It is really beautiful to look at.
Thanks.

Here is my favorite Taylor, Kenny Loggins Signature Model:

With the exception of the inlay on the fretboard, I think this is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever seen!!!  WOW!!  Would love to have one of these!!!

those african mahogany (khaya) 300s were especially nice, imho, &
there's a good possibility yours might  have the Standard II bracing ...
very cool :)

The Hatfields(Taylors)

front row: 2010 814ce Fall LTD 12th fret, short scale
Second row: 2010 814ce, 2010 716ce Spring LTD Imbuia b/c
In the back:2011 714ce, 2008 T5-s, 2007 514ce

This what I call the Hatfield's family.  The McCoy's(Martins and Fenders) will come latter.  You could reverse the names and its ok with me(don't want to start any feuds).

Lots of great stuff here

Mine doesn't have exotic wood (EIR / Sitka), but she rumbles like a beast and has a cool mustache
