Have any of you used the iRig for Macs?

Have any of you used this?  This looks very...tempting...   :D

I guess you can turn ANY set of speakers into an amp...or something like that.

Used iRig and Amplitube or iPad. Personally, I wasn't impressed.  I should pull it out of the drawer to try it again...

I used it once.  It seems to work well except that it greatly reduces the volume of the guitar.  That's not a fatal flaw, just a minor annoyance.

I used a m-audio fast track using the ES, and had the same problem. I posted about this in the recording sub forum, it was suggested to use an external mic. Other places I have read that using a condenser mic is the way to go.

I've used iRig to play my T5 on the iPad (with GarageBand). Records okay, and works for quick ideas/riffs.
