Okay, let's parade the goodies. I'll start with this exceptional Koa T5.

I know that you don't want that anymore...just send it my way...and all will be alright.  ;)

Thank you carl for the compliment on the looks.  Yes, I agree that my daughter did well.  I was completely caught off guard when she gave it to me.  I have to admit that when she presented it to me, it brought tears to my eyes.

coldshot,

Both of those T5's look really good.  I bet it was difficult to let one go.  But, you got your first Taylor acoustic which is not a bad thing at all.  And looking at your signature, it is obvious you have a great stable of instruments :)

G day Tom,
I originally bought the Koa T5 for a mate of mine who loved my Cocobolo T5 and had helped me out with some work on my house and wouldn't acept any money.

He point blank refused to take it home, although he played it regularly at my place, i bought it on a intrest free deal for two years so i didn't really miss paying it off each month, worked out about a case of beer a week.

I sold the Cocobolo T5 back to the store where I bought the Koa one, and paid a little extra for my first taylor acoustic, an 810 ce.

It was hard to choose betwwen the two, but the Cocobolo T5 was worth more as a resale to the guitar store.

The T5's were my first Taylor experiance and I have to admit I love the tone and playability of Taylors very much now.

Gorgeous guitar, and after looking at the pictures of your other guitar on that deck, I am ready to head over at the first hint of spring and start picking!

Maybe we could find that "e sharp" thing-a-ma-bob.  :)

WOW!!!!  :)  That knocked my socks off.  You have a lovely guitar and reason to be fond of this one.  All of the T5's we've seen here really look good in my opinion and they all play like butter, if anything like mine.  Yes, you have a nice looking electric guitar and I bet it plays like butter as well.  How is the sound of this baby?

SMan and tnfiddler......

You two have some lovely T5's there.

tnfiddler  *  I've always wondered how a 12 string would play, but have never found one in my area to take for a test drive.  How do you like it with the neck?  I bet it is a dream to play.

SMan  *  Wow!  I love that blue on that top.  All these different T5's makes me want to have one of ever color and combination.  Slap my face so reality will set in :)
