Baggs M80 in a GS Mini?
« on: January 10, 2013, 10:02:29 PM »
Has anyone compared a Baggs M80 to the ES Go in a GS Mini? I have the ES Go in my Mini hog top but wonder if the M80 might sound better.  Yes, I know how a soundhole magnetic pickup sounds more "electric" but for various reasons I need one for use in our loud band.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Sorry, I have no experience with the ES-go.  But the Baggs pups are superb pups, IMHO.  I would have zero reservation about using one live.  BTW, I do not own a GSmini ...is it a standard soundhole size?  ...if it's smaller than normal you may simply want to confirm that the baggs will fit.
