516ce "in the house"
« on: December 22, 2011, 06:59:14 PM »
picked this up last week after it swooned me over-never been a fan of the GS size, and no 514 cedar top has impressed me.........................................well, this 516 took me for a ride and then some. digging it!

tortise pickguard is going back on-wanted to see how it looked convertible style. too much tan to hide. the tortise guard looks classy on this model IMO anyhow.

(beautiful wife, kids, and laz the cat) ;D

Great guitar and beautiful family ...now get em all in one shot! :)

BTW, I 100% agree with you that the guitar looks better with the pg on.  The hue of the tortoise on the cedar, especially with that lovely binding, is classy.   Congrats and enjoy, Daryl!!

Thanks for the pictures.  You have a nice looking guitar there and it appears a happy family as well.  I too agree with you about the pickguard.

Another agreement about replacing the pick guard.  It will look fine with the colors on that guitar.
