656ce Taylor Acoustic Wave saddle
« on: November 15, 2012, 01:19:35 PM »
I had a new nut cut for my lefty 656ce and installed the Taylor Acoustic Wave Lefty 12 string saddle.   The factory nut had the 'A' course too close together.

I had played an Acoustic Wave saddle on a T5-12 and liked it so I had my local guitar tech in Sacramento (Arnie Gamble) install it.

Very nice.  Great intonation.  Not the greatest picture!

I've been very tempted to go for one of these for a while now.  It seems to make all the sense in the world to have all the octave strings at the same height level as the main strings.  Being so used to six strings, there are many times on a 12er that I miss hitting the octave strings  because they are just that little bit lower than the main strings.  I can't wait to hear what I'm missing out on, LOL! :P
