Basic amp setup question

For my basic non-gigging home setup,  I have this:

  e-guitar 1 - > modeller -> mixer ->  powered PA
  e-guitar 2 - > modeller -> mixer ->  powered PA
  mic 1 -> mixer ->  powered PA
  mic 2 -> mixer ->  powered PA
  PC (backing tracks)  -> mixer ->  powered PA
  Taylor 214e ->   mixer ->  powered PA [/li]

It all works out fine, except for the Taylor - no warmth to it. I dont own an acousitic amp  ; but I do have a Roland Cube 20X (and MicroCube), with an acoustic setting.  Should I be doing something like this?:

Taylor 214e ->   Roland  -> mixer ->  powered PA

Okay, tried the MicroCube in the path, on Clean (vs acoustic), with a little reverb, and it sounds much better!

I have so many options with EQ settings, which I'm sure would improve sound futher, but not enough experience to know where to focus on, ie

Taylor 214e (bass/treble)
    -> Roland Cube  (tone or 3 band eq )
          -> mixer (3 band eq)
              -> dbX 215 (15 band eq)
                    -> powered PA  (3 band eq)

I play mainly fingerstyle (vs strumming) so I'm looking for something more clean, warm and mellow...
