NGD on the way
« on: August 02, 2012, 01:43:44 PM »
I ordered a Taylor 12 fret GC without electronics and with a cedar top with rosewood back and sides from Jim at Guitar rodeo on June 19th.  Received an email from Jim yesterday with a UPS notice that he has shipped it to me.  This really didn't take long at all for the modified guitar.  Here are a couple of pictures that Jim has sent to me.

UPS delivered it around 3 pm.  I let it sit for a couple hours so it could cool off.  It was at least 95 outdoors today and in the UPS truck was probably even hotter.  Tuned it up and WOW!!!  This guitar surely sounds big and sweet for such a small guitar.  Love the cedar top's sound.  I guess I will have to play it for a while now to see how it sounds for finger picking.
Thanks for all of your kind words.
