Scale charts for guitar, bass and violin
« on: June 26, 2012, 04:09:03 PM »
An essential tool for beginning musicians. I doubt if anyone of you guys inhere really need this as you're all without a doubt advanced.
However this is still a very usefull tool for me personally and I think it should be available in any guitar forum or any other stringed instrument's forum.
These can be freely distributed as there's no copyrights on em.

To beginners, the charts allows musicians to build whatever chord, scale or arpeggio in any position of the instrument.
The numbers stand for the interval distance and are all major.
Subtract one for the minor (or dimminished) interval.
The used scale is C, move the dots (or your hand) up two positions to get D and down by one is B.
I guess you can figure out the rest for yourself.

GUITAR

BASS

VIOLIN

Hope this is of any use for someone out there.
