2011 Spring Limited 416ce Walnut/Cedar, What Can You Tell Me??
« on: December 15, 2011, 11:50:49 PM »
I'd like to hear from those who have, or experienced the 2011 Spring Limited 416ce. Please describe the bass response in terms of clarity, richness, etc. How is the volume? How about the balance and tone? How is it for strumming and finger style? Well, you've got the idea what I'm looking for.

I'm looking at my next purchase. I'm interested in mahogany/cedar and all mahogany, but thought I'd throw the Walnut/Cedar in as well.

Thanks, Res

seeing as there hasn't been any responses as of yet,
i'm hoping that it's ok to post a link from the other place

there is a forum member there that owned/sold that exact model recently
http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229068
there is a description & a link to a dealer sound clip as well

i hope that this helps & that if someone here has a cedar/walnut GS,
that they will chime in shortly with their take on its tonal qualities

perhaps we need to give GSMC Bob a holler & let him know we're over here ;)

it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...
