anybody play/own the new 700 series nylon models?

must admit the vintage burst catches my eye immediately-and being a nylon string sound lover, i'm interested in these.

the sound they offer, is it basically like the nylon guitars of recent years taylor has offered(N72, etc)or do these have a different sound?

and if you've played the 712ce-N and 714ce-N, which did you like best-and why?
any other info welcome

Played the 712-cn at NAMM.  From what I could hear in a very noisy environment, I liked it a lot.  Obviously not as bold as a full bodied classical but, if you are at all familiar with Taylor nylon tone, you can discern through the din that itwas a good one. 

Physically, it's  very comfortable to play and an absolute knock-out in the looks department.  I love the throw back design and the use of ivoroid for the detail work in combination with the heavier sunburst.  It just screams retro sexy in a Bette Davis / Marlene Dietrich kind of way, without being too Mae West...

Hi,  I pulled the trigger on  714 CE-n a couple of weeks ago.  I opted for the cedar top as I always like a little more warmth.  My initial impressions....dark, warm sound (obviously different with the spruce), incredibly easy to play, a bit on the quiet side, incredible looks, an amazingly balanced sound plugged in.  I gig a lot and I needed a nylon thst would "maintain it's dignity" plugged in at high volumes.  My flamenco and classical guitars are great but become pretty squirrely played thought my L1 at high volumes.  Big surprise?  The low E is an absolute beast adding a lot of depth to the sound.

Overall, I'm very happy although I do miss the K20c i sold in order to get it!

Thanks for the clip.  I love cedar, and you play it beautifully...with your "bone tone". By the way, what is a "Yeti Pro"?  Is that a Yeti who turned pro?

Yeti Pro is a USB Mic.  I just had it shipped with the 714 cen.  So far, I'm pretty impressed.  Pretty good sound quality although obviously, I'm still experimenting!
