no thread, but before i was interested in guitars i was, & still am, a Ford guy -
my first car was a dark blue metallic 83 mustang 3.8 V6 &
the last mustang i had was a sonic blue 02 mustang 3.8
the color of the 02 was pretty close to this one

the darker area of the burst resembles sonic blue as well
