New Taylor owner
« on: January 19, 2021, 04:15:20 PM »
Hello everyone,  I'm new to this forum and a first time Taylor owner.  I haven't touched a guitar in 35 years and wasn't that good when I did.  But, for some reason I developed an itch to play again.  I'm a lefty and just bought a 214ce from Sweetwater.  I love the look and sound of the guitar but not sure about the playability....or really what it should play like.  It could be just me getting used to playing again.  Did a truss rod adjustment....that helped some but got some string buzz so I adjusted it back.  I'd like to get the best action I can while I'm re-learning.  Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum and back to guitar. Are you near a shop that you trust for setting up your new Taylor? Taylor is known for their great playability....it might need a little attention to get it to where it needs to be.
