Hello from Stockholm
« on: August 01, 2020, 12:08:44 PM »
Hello from Stockholm, Sweden!

I'm a multi-instrumentalist with the guitar as my main instrument for some 40+ years now! I started out with classical guitar training but since my late teens, almost exclusively electric guitar (rock, progressive, fusion, jazz etc). I've continued to play nylon string every now and then, but the steel string 6 and 12's has never felt very comfortable to me. Until quite recently when I tried a Taylor GA which suited me perfectly! For starters, I went for a Taylor 214ce Koa which I found as playable as the solid models! Looking forward to learn get more acquainted with the instrument and find even more inspiration on this forum! Looking forward to meeting you all!

Cheers,
Hasse

Welcome Hasse! Lots of electric players comment on how comfortable the Taylor acoustics are in comparison. Enjoy your time here.

Welcome to the group! I'm new here also, and one of my Taylprs is a GA. I certainly hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine! Looking forward to hearing more from you, it looks like you've been in the business for a while. 😊

Thanks! Still just two weeks into a busy honeymoon with the Taylor :) As I wrote my experience with acoustic steel strings have been so-so and this guitar feels much more inspiring. Will probably be my go-to song writing tool and a nice texture enhancer (love the sound of layered electric and acoustic guitars).

Welcome!
The truth is that Taylor acoustic guitars are the most comfortable & playable on the planet.
Well at least that's my opinion  8)

1996 912 (slick & fancy)

Thanks! :)  I'm still in the "Play-in" phase with the Taylor, with no attempts to get "serious" with in yet : ::)
