WV guy in PA
« on: June 14, 2020, 08:25:51 PM »
Hello gang and thanks for the add!  I’m a WV transplant who’s been in the Pittsburgh area for the last 10 years.  A couple years ago I decided to parlay 40 years of air guitar into actually trying to play.  One of the guys that worked for me turned me on to the local Taylor dealer and I was hooked.  I recently added a T5z to my Taylor family and found this group while searching for info on her.  Thanks again and I look forward to the learning more from you guys!

Welcome to the forum bjw1971.  Love the T5z myself, but have pretty much given up on electrics, and am strictly acoustic for the last couple of years.  Enjoy your new guitar.

I feel too new to this list to "welcome" you, but it's good to hear your story.  Nice tally of Taylors!  Like you, I'm a recent learner and lover of Taylor guitars.  I love the look of my T5koa but alas I find myself exclusively drawn to learning acoustic before I get into electric (not to say I don't still have a fascination with the "swap-culture" of "Franken-casters").  Aloha.

Welcome, "bjw1971!"  Native Pittsburgher here, now living in Texas by way of Morgantown, WV where I attended college many moons ago.  I'm going to venture a guess that you were shopping for Taylor guitars at Empire Music, which is where I bought at least half of the ones I own...?
