Hello from Upstate New York!
« on: February 01, 2012, 02:41:41 AM »
Hi, Everyone!

Greetings from Central New York..Syracuse!
I've been a very loyal Taylor fan for many years.....and am absolutely tickled to death to be here!!
I was a fairly early member of 'the other' forum, back when it's name originally started with a "T".

When I was in "collecting mode" a few years ago, I would spot a particular Taylor model I thought I wanted, so I'd buy it, give it a whirl for a few days or weeks, and then either keep it, or sell it, until I ended up with the models I liked most. It was great fun, met a bunch of great people in the process, and learned a lot about Taylor guitars.

Real estate broker by trade....but music is my hobby....I sing & play folk, traditional, some country & easy- listening music at home, and also "out" at coffee houses, community festivals and senior centers.

I'm so glad that there is now again a place for us Taylorholics to call home!

Hi Alan and welcome! When I was a kid, I think my family went to Syracuse when my grandparents lived in Towanda, PA. It's funny how some people ONLY think of NY as being the 5 boroughs and consider the rest of the state as being somewhat foreign to them. Great to have you here...and nice collection of Taylors! ;)
