Title: How Many NGD's Did We Have in 2018?

We have been running this thread each year to keep track of all our NGD's (new guitar day):
2013 - 118 reported NGD's
2014 - 169 reported NGD's
2015 - 112 reported NGD's
2016 - 160 reported NGD's
2017 - 137 reported NGD's

This is for 2018 NGD's, which includes Taylors AND non-Taylors. It can be new or new-to-you (used).

BE SURE TO NUMBER YOUR GUITAR IN YOUR POST (i.e. #xxx), TO KEEP THE COUNT GOING. If the member does not number their guitar in their post, I will modify their post to add the number, so we all can see the count.

ALSO, LETS KEEP THIS THREAD JUST AS A COUNT.....PLEASE PUT ALL OTHER DISCUSSION ABOUT THESE NEW GUITARS IN SEPARATE THREADS (we encourage detailed NGD threads). OTHERWISE THIS GETS TOO COMPLICATED AND CONFUSING (PICTURES ARE GREAT TO SEE). THANKS.

to replace my non cutaway 812e 12 fret :)

SO I had my "forever" guitar when I bought my 2014 812e 12 fret

BUT...

it always bothered me...both in playing and the thought/look that it didnt have the cutaway (got a good deal so jumped at trying the 12 fret even without the CE)

well I found a better deal on one WITH a CE and was able to sell mine on the same day!! so I NOW have my forever guitar...

a 2016 812ce 12 fret :)

#22. Rainsong WS-1000. Out in the snow because, well it is Carbon Fiber and likes that sort of thing. It also protects my Taylor’s from having to go out in bad weather:)

Took advantage of the local Guitar Center Memorial Day sale and got $500 off and traded in my old 2013 814ce. I walked out paying just less than half of retail price. Not too shabby! ;0)

GS Mini Koa.  Back in the Taylor fold. Was looking for a travel/touring guitar I can plug in. Found at LaVonne Music in Savage, MN today. After about playing it for 5 minutes my wife was in the "want me to play it before you but it?" mode. 

Have to say am impressed with the ES-B so far. Plugged it into a Fishman Loudbox Mini and was quickly able to dial in a good tone. Am taking it on a "tour" in less than 2 weeks.

This beauty is a 312CE 12-Fret LTD.

BTW, how do I tell if it's the current model? Can I figure it out from the serial number?

 #58. Haven't bought any new guitars the past few years. Last week I pulled the trigger on a 2017 T5z Pro Special Edition.

 I retired in April and moved near the small town of Erwin, NC. Erwin was once known as the "Denim Capital of the World".

 Normally, I don't name my guitars. The exception is my Hard Knocks Esquire because Will Kelly had already named her "Miss Bettie". 

 I decided to name my T5z "Erwin". A tribute to the town's proud past history and the gorgeous denim stain.

#72 I just got my first Taylor -- an 814ce Deluxe V-class on 10/30/2018. Got a sweet deal on a "used" model -- when I called Taylor to check on the seriel number, they told me that it had dust in the finish and it was easier to mark it "used" and send it to a dealer. I see nothing but beauty!
