New guitar day. Unfortunately it's got to ride around in the big brown truck all day, before I get to see it. I'm at the end of the route. Not a Taylor, only because they don't make one. Solid koa/maple binding. Satin finish.

We'll stay tuned........

Looking forward to pictures!!! Congratulations on your NGD!The curly maple binding is one of my favorite aesthetic aspects of my 816 and my K26 has a little maple purfling in it, too. Not very visible to other viewers , but as the ones holding the guitar , we get to look right down at it whenever we want to. Congrats!

Well, it arrived and I'm loving it. Have wanted a short scale (24 inch) solid wood guitar for a long, long time. Been wishing Taylor would do a GS-Mini in solid woods. Got a Larivée koa parlor. With an 1 3/4 but, and 12 fret neck, it's the easiest guitar I've ever played. The sound is nice for finger picking, but it's also a small cannon with a thin pick. Head to head against my mini, where the mini peaks out early, this thing is just gaining steam. Still love my mini because I travel a bit, and do some camping. Probably will not be playing the mini much at home, any more.
