Post by: asahi on November 02, 2012, 08:09:13 AM
forgive me...
i just purchased a collings d2h, a dred with premium sitka/rosewood.
i sold a martin d28 to help finance it.

i was given an offer i couldn't refuse...well over 1k below low retail pricing.

it arrives next week.

You are forgiven but you should purchase 2 more Taylors to balance things out.   ;D ;D ;D

Well, maybe the Martin folks would consider that "switching", but according to your signature info, you still have a couple Taylors.  You just swapped out for a different SOB (some other brand).  ;)

Congrats on the new guitar.   :)

Aloha!

It's OK. I just found a D2HA and couldn't pass on it. They are a different animal from most Taylors. I find them to be a lot like my Martins, especially the older ones. Plus being from Texas it is almost illegal NOT to own one.

I recently bought an OM1 Walnut.  Fabulous instrument.
