Title: Howdy!
Post by: TedBPhx on November 14, 2021, 12:14:48 PM
Got the same Go Buy an Acoustic gas everybody in the world got during shutdown. Took advantage of the BOGO and mail ordered a Mini Hog and an 814ce Dlx V. That was last year. This year I fell in love with a GT K21e. It’s become my go to guitar.

Welcome Ted. Quite an impressive group of Taylors! I think we need to see a group pic.  ;)

Hey, I’m Steve. Near Pittsburgh .As I went part time in 2021 en route to retirement, I bought an Academy 12 last February. Then traded up to a GTe Urban Ash in April. Never played an instrument. Our kids played piano and that too was sitting quiet. So I began to learn to play both on my own. Now that full retirement is just 2 weeks away I’m looking forward to a more productive learning plan. I have accumulated a raft of beginners books and saved countless online nuggets to practice. Can’t yet barre  a clean F chord . F7, Fadd9 are my work arounds. (Don’t really expect
I’ll ever be able to play barre chords!)
The piano has taken a back seat to the guitar but learning how music works for the first time on both instruments is simply amazing.
Happy to join a community of real players who love their Taylor acoustic guitars as much as I love mine.
