Title: New Tuner Buttons for my Nine-Year-Old BTO Taylor
Post by: Strumming Fool on April 05, 2020, 06:31:03 PM
I found these canary wood buttons on the Charis website and gave them a try. While canary wood is usually more yellow in color, I think that these buttons go well with the ovangkol headstock overlay. What do you think?

Good eye Strumming Fool!! They match extremely well! Love the top of your guitar  :)
I have purchased some buttons from Charis myself. They are very well made!

I’m not the designer, leave that to the other half.  I do think they pull the color from the truss cover, looks nice...

Thanks everyone!

All my Taylors have Gotoh 510s, and all but one use the wooden button replacements - I think they are attractive and quite practical as they don't tarnish with use like coated metal buttons.
