Do I Need a Luthier

Do I need a luthier to put strap locks on my 314ce?  Getting my current leather strap on the end pin is not smooth and I do have some lack of confidence it will stay connected.  Also, is there a particular brand of locks preferred by Taylor?  Can't find much on their website.

Just a Phillips head screw driver is all you should need to change to strap lock pins.

No big deal, just make sure the driver is in good shape so it doesn't slip off and jam your guitar.

Don't over tighten it either.
