Vicarious NGD -710e- & new Christmas song video

My partner in this band just got this beauty - a 710e Western Sunburst. It plays even better than it looks. So good!

We had this new song on the go for Christmas, and got the guitar just in time to include it. We just shot the video Thursday.

Yeah, Michael, on the long scale package. The singer's husband and I secretly got it for her, with me knowing generally what she likes. I saw it with the short scale and slot tuners on the website and knew it wasn't what she was used to, so asked Taylor for the sales spiel just to explain to her why the slot tuners were a good idea, and they instantly replied that they had it in stock with the long scale package and "normal" tuners. Easy. I personally would love to check out the short scale version, but don't want to give myself any GAS!

But seriously, the guitar is SO GREAT. I got a new 610ce in 2003, plus the 556ce in the video, a Baritone-6ce and an NS34ce (early nylon model) since 2010, so I'm totally spoiled, but I was instantly jealous when I played her 710e. So easy to play and so warm and clear sounding. Not to mention gorgeous looking.

michaelw, Old Gold is one of my favorites as well and one of the songs that inspired our "music for human beings" tagline. I figure if you can't relate to that song at all, then you're probably not human. That's also the song the head of Taylor artist relations referred to when he invited us to be "official" Taylor artists... although we're still not on the website.
