... I would imagine no real harm became of the guitar once it dried out.
Except when the wine starts to dry out and turn sour. That should add a really pleasant aroma to Ovangkol...
Is it an optical illusion or is the neck on that thing extremely bowed...?
It's an illusion caused by optical distortion at the edges of the wide angle lens he's using. I thought the same thing about the neck, but went back to view the guitar when he initially holds it up; the neck appears straight then.
... He reminds me of Pee Wee Herman which explains the Hello Kitty Strat.
