The UTGF team does not recommend doing anything like this...at all....ever.....in a million years...

Could not watch this. I think I got about 20 seconds or less in. Even if it was an $80 dollar guitar from a garage sale why would anybody be that stupid?

Someone needs counseling for his extreme display of emotions.
I would hate to see what he does off camera with that guitar ???.
I would imagine no real harm became of the guitar once it dried out.

Is it an optical illusion or is the neck on that thing extremely bowed?  I watched a couple of his other videos where he plays and sings.  He reminds me of Pee Wee Herman which explains the Hello Kitty Strat.

Indeed...

Seriously, he couldn't have just enjoyed a glass of the wine -- perhaps offering a toast to the folks at Taylor who built it for him -- without thinking his 414ce needed to join him..? :o  What he'd better be doing off-camera is cleaning that thing up...  "This is my guitar," he proudly proclaimed.  Yeah, buddy; now and for all time...

... I would imagine no real harm became of the guitar once it dried out.

Except when the wine starts to dry out and turn sour.  That should add a really pleasant aroma to Ovangkol... :o

Is it an optical illusion or is the neck on that thing extremely bowed...?

It's an illusion caused by optical distortion at the edges of the wide angle lens he's using.  I thought the same thing about the neck, but went back to view the guitar when he initially holds it up; the neck appears straight then.

... He reminds me of Pee Wee Herman which explains the Hello Kitty Strat.

Idiot...  Glad you bonded with it because, with the wine stains on the inside of it, you'll never sell it.  Of course, the horrendous waste of wine is criminal in and of itself....

I'm one of those who were shocked. I posted this video of an old John Hiatt song which conveyed my outrage.

This is nothing but a rhetorical question:  but other than to prove it could be done, what was the point of resurrecting that 310...?  There's got to be more in the labor than they'll ever get for it...

Drugs are bad.
Don't do drugs.
