Hello from the UK!!
« on: February 23, 2015, 06:06:17 PM »
Hello from the centre of the UK.

Just bought my first Taylor.......a T5S1-12 in beautiful Red Maple. I bought it to cover the wide genre of music (from rock to acoustic) I play on my gigs around the UK and this guitar fits the bill perfectly. It has now replaced my Rickenbacker 620-12 as my "weapon of choice" and it really is the best 12 string I have ever played.
I go through a Zoom G3 fx pedal in to a Laney Cub 12 (all valve combo) DI'd into my PA. Absolutely delighted and could not be happier with the guitar!!
I look forward to corresponding with you good folks of the Taylor family, and learning more about these wonderful instruments.

Cheers............Brian   ;)

Hello again, nice to meet you all.

Bob & Doc,.....I'm from Halesowen in the "Black Country" as it's known. I did a gig in Bedworth a couple of weeks ago and have worked in Coventry many times over the years.
Saxacat...., I used to go busking in Carlisle on my travels many years ago and have done a few gigs around that area too (I shall never forget Barrow)! ;D

This T5S1-12 really is fantastic... I just can't put it down!! I shall now wait with interest to see if they introduce a T5z-12; a tobacco sunburst would be really nice; I don't think I could resist!  ;D

Cheers........Brian.
