Taylor neck reset...avg cost?

Hi,

My Taylor 214E is at the point of needing a neck reset.  What is just a ballpark figure, let's say for the labor, new shims, maybe a saddle, and regular setup (neck relief, maybe level a few frets) at a reputable Taylor authorized?

This is supposed to be easier, so I'm equating...cheaper...than a dovetail reset.  That's the whole point of the design, right?

Depends on where you are.  Big city prices will obviously be higher than smaller town prices.  I would think under 3 figures.

It’s about 150 or so in Nashvegas.  Free if I am the original owner.

Maybe less but, again, depends on shop and location. I've seen people online say $100 and up. The only way to know for sure? Take it in.

Yes it is along with many other things. The warranty is only applicable to original registered owner though. OP didn't indicate if they qualified or not. Most likely not or they probably wouldn't have asked the question.
