Movie Review: Angel Has Fallen...

Not a bad flick if you like a lot of gun play and things going boom (I kinda' do).

Gerard Butler once again plays Mike Banning, a former Army Ranger and member of the President's protection detail. He ends up being  charged with the attempted assassination of the President, played by Morgan Freeman.

It was slow to get started, but it turned out okay. Nick Nolte plays Clay Banning, Mike's estranged father. If you like things that go "boom" (and, again, I do) the scene where the Banning father and son team abandon Clay's mountain shack is absolute gold.

There's a moderate amount of blood and a lot of violence but, hey, that's what this series has always contained.

If you do go see it, stay in your seat when the credits start to roll. There's another scene which is absolutely hysterical.

I give it a B...
