I have looked at the videos on these strap locks, and I want to try them on my 414ce. I would use the Acousti-loc adapter on the "plug" end so that should solve one part of this. The one question I have has to do with the screw size compared to the one on the current button. The Schaller is not only longer, it is fatter. When I take the one out of the heal, do I need to do anything but start screwing the new one in? May seem like a simple question, but I am not a "wood-worker" kind of person and I don't want to "screw" anything up. Your input would be appreciated.
