Hello
« on: June 13, 2019, 04:49:28 PM »
Hello, my first post! I've been playing guitar since 1958......I played my Tele for the past fifty years but a couple years ago I started playing a lot of acoustic guitar. I'm on my third Taylor and it's my best one so far. I own a K14 Builders Edition and I am very pleased with it. I play with a female vocalist. We do a duo, add a bass player sometimes and we also have a percussionist/drummer who plays cajon with us. In the past I played Rock and Blues in clubs and larger venues. I played jazz fusion in a keyboard trio. Now we do old classics, Pop, country and jazz. Most of our gigs now are at restaurants or bars where we can play on a patio or deck or small stage. Most of the time we start at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00......good for us old guys.
I have gone full circle back to the acoustic guitar and I couldn't be happier. I love my Taylor and I'm looking forward to saving enough to get a new Grand Pacific model......they look and sound really interesting.
