I’ve just got an old Taylor 814 with the E1.3 pickup system! It sounds horrible. Loads of mid, scratchy highs.. I’ve checked the system over And it looks okay, i’ve put a new 9 V battery in and checked the magnetic and contact pick up on the underside of the body.
I’ve tried different lead but the guitar almost sounds like an electric guitar when plugged in. Any ideas.
