812ce volume trouble
« on: March 23, 2019, 02:54:30 PM »
812ce, six years old, only used on gigs, only producing enough volume when volume turned up full.  The guitar also seems to eat batteries...batteries rarely last more than six or eight hours of playing - often losing power in the middle of a gig.  Any insights on volume problems or battery suggestions?

Do you know which ES you have? At 6 years old it should use the single 9 volt, but you did say batteries so I wanted to make sure you don’t have the 2 AA’s?
The most common problem I have heard of is the sensor that tells it your plugged in, gets stuck and the ES stays on continuously even though you unplugged. Hope it’s that simple for you.
