I'll tell you one dang thing <spit>, it's so cold here in SW Ohio I saw a politician with his or her hands in his or her own pockets. That's not only cold, it's politically correct!!  8)

I know Pittsburgh went back into the deep freeze.  But it's a relatively warm 50 deg here in San Antonio...

5 degrees at Boston's Logan airport, so knock off a few degrees for distance and a lot more for wind chill, about -15 degrees for people. And it hasn't gotten much better since.

The only good news is that it wasn't as cold as the midwest yesterday. From my son, I do know that U. Wisconsin @ Madison cancelled yesterday, along with a host of restaurants and bars.

I was talking to some people in Cokato Minnesota and this morning, it was with a wind chill factor -52.  ouch! that is cold by anybodies standards.  They are also expecting to reach up to the mid 40s by the weekend, wow a hundred degree temperature change there.  That is the true meaning of climate change.  Ha!
