I know we already have a "How's the Winter Weather" thread, but I was wondering if it might be interesting for us to check into this thread occasionally, and post today's weather report, wherever we are and whatever the weather: Date, general locale, and present conditions, please.

January 26, 2012, Middle Georgia, USA - 71 degrees F., 78% humidity, bright and sunny. MY kind of January winter weather!

Northern Virginia - Cloudy, rain later tonight, about 50 degrees....yuck!!

Minnesota, south of the Metro.
Right now: Partly cloudy, breezy, and 37°F.  Was in the twenties this morning.
This is actually unseasonably warm for this area.

hopefully i can get the dogs out & back in before it gets bad (backyard's already a mud-pit)

Jan 27, Northumberland, UK. 4C, sunny intervals, 89% humidity, pressure 1014mb, and a cold westerly breeze. Better than last January, by far.

Today's High is expected to be 71 F., mostly sunny, with a few clouds moving in and a 70% chance of showers later.

Tomorrow will be sunny and warm:  76 F.  MY kind of early February!

I think this post is in very poor taste... most of you people are smiling in the sun and enjoying it all.. I on the other hand am sitting here looking as a foot of snow or so and cold weather most of the time for the past few weeks.. like -10 to -18 C at nite..

anyway just kidding. fun to see the different weather in different regions...

New England, specifically Rhode Island...middle of February...today's expected high temp 45 degrees F.
Midweek temps in the 50's.  What season is this?

I love the snow but it's so warm that it is all melting away. It is presently 32.9 degrees on the north side of my house and with the sun shining we will loose quite a bit of snow today. I'm hoping we'll get enough snow to replenish what we are loosing the end of the week.
