With about 0.008" or 0.009" of relief at the seventh fret too, while the string is held down at the first and 13th frets.  A standard sheet of copier paper is 0.004", so a double thickness makes a great gauge.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

The mothership sets the action at 4/64ths and 6/64ths, high e and low E, IIRC.  This is a good baseline from which to start.

What "should" the high actually be, however, is a question that is answered by the player's style and music.  The best setup is done by a good guitar tech who talks to the customer about what he plays and how he plays.
