Hello from Colorado
« on: January 21, 2012, 02:14:19 AM »
I joined the forum, like many others, since the AGF removed the Taylor sub-forum. I have four Taylors in addition to other high quality guitars and I love them. I do not like the ES, however. I am looking for ways to improve the ES. I would preferably like to add a piezo undersaddle directly into the ES electronics to replace that lame body sensor. Any thoughts?

Well hello and welcome to the forum, Colorancher. I, too, am not a fan of the ES system but solved my issues by just not buying a Taylor with one! I'm sure someone here will have some good advice.

Welcome aboard Colorancher.  I can offer no direction on the sound you are looking for.  However, I am confident others who have experimented with pickups will be helpful.  Enjoy your stay here....

Hi Colorancher and welcome to the UTGF! Sorry I can't offer any help with the ES, but there are plenty of other members who are knowledgeable and who might be able to offer some assistance. Glad you came over and hope to see you around! :)
