hello from Alaska!
« on: March 21, 2018, 07:59:40 PM »
New to the forum and will soon be new to Taylor.  I'm currently waiting impatiently on a K14ce Builder's Edition, but until then I'll happily noodle around on a '91 Martin D28 LSH and a beater early 90s Martin 000-16, which I will admit I play most often even though the D28 sounds better.
Anyways, happy to be here.  Seems like a great place.

Welcome to the forum akookie.  You will be one of the first to have a new K14 on this forum.  Please show it to us when you get it.

Welcome Akokie!

You should have a great contrasting sound between the D28 and the K14. Enjoy the new family member and the forum.

My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

Thanks for the warm welcome folks.
Soof, I live in Juneau (by way of Oklahoma- hence my username). It's a cool wet paradise.  I don't miss those hot southern summers.  At. All.

Welcome!  I lived in Anchorage for 14 years and 15 winters.  And I have visited Juneau many times for business, during all seasons.  The K14 Builder's Edition should be a pretty skookum guitar when it gets there from the Lower 48.  My handle on another forum is "Earl49" a nod to my former home.  You can take the boy out of Alaska, but you can't take the Alaska out of the boy.....
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby
