100 Series and ES2
« on: March 04, 2018, 09:01:15 AM »
My 110e has the ES2, and was manufactured in October of 2015 according to the serial number (2110195485). However, sources I have come across state the 2015 100 series Taylors had the ES-T. Do you think this guitar had an upgrade, or did Taylor start making the ES2 standard on 100 series instruments earlier than most people think? I believe I'm the third owner of this guitar.

Yes, I'm sure it's ES2 - it has the three adjustment screws on the bridge and I've compared the board inside the instrument to pictures of the ES2 board. The guitar doesn't look like it went through a surgery - -

Just curious

ES2 needs 3 holes in the bridge.

Call Taylor, super friendly and they will know what was originally put into the guitar based on the serial number.
