Custom One-of-a-Kind Moniker Electric Guitar H/S/H
« on: September 25, 2018, 04:39:13 PM »
This is a one-of-a-kind custom semi-hollow electric guitar lovingly referred to as The Red Hex. It was made by Moniker Guitars of Austin Texas in the fall of 2015 and it is in like-new condition. It features a hand-stained, semi-hollow alder body. The neck is stained the same matte finish as the rest of the guitar. The fingerboard is rosewood with dot inlays. The sound holes are custom. The direct-mount pickups are configured in an incredibly versatile arrangement with two zebra humbuckers flanking a strat-style single coil. There is a 5-way pickup selector switch and two metal knobs (tone and volume) capped in a dark pearlescent material. Another interesting feature of this guitar is that frets 1 through 12 are numbered along the top of the neck, for easy reference when reading tabs or learning the fret board. This is the only guitar that Moniker produced with the hexagon-shaped sound holes and H/S/H pickup configuration, which alone makes it very special, but it's also a great looking, great playing, great feeling and great sounding guitar as well. It has been properly stored in it's case since new and Moniker Guitars stopped production last year, with remaining stock selling for $1000+ on reverb and similar sites. Add this one-off treasure to your arsenal and you'll have something completely unique. I'm happy to answer questions. The guitar includes a plush-lined case. I have a guitar box and shipping can be arranged with the carrier of your choice, or local pick up in Chicago IL. Thanks!
