Howdy,

53, playing guitar since 13.  I played ukes and tenor guitars before that.  Between 13 and 35 or so, I played mostly electric.  I really started putting time into acoustic when my kids were born.  I spent about 10 years playing in preschools and kindergartens...  and boy are my arms tired.  (rim shot)

I've been through a bunch of acoustics.  The Taylor's have been...   510, 555, 422, 355, Baby.  Currently Taylorless.

Welcome to the forum, Ed! Kudos to you for playing to the children. Many kids don't have the opportunity to be exposed to an instrument at home so it's awesome that they were able to have you around during such impressionable years. Who knows, perhaps you've inspired some of them to play the guitar!  ;)

Hello Ed and welcome aboard...  When I first picked up a guitar, I began with an electric and stayed there for years.  Then I discovered the acoustic side as well.  Possessing a Taylor or not is not mandatory here.  We are guitar friends regardless of what we have in our hands.
